What's the longest trip in your ZL1?

I just drove from Virginia to Maine and back last week.

That is the longest trip I have taken so far, about 680 miles one way.

I find the ZL1 to be very comfortable for a long drive like that.

I averaged close to 21 miles per gallon, I usually get around 10 mpg knocking around town. I am only five miles from home to office, so it was good to get the car out there and run it.

And about three hours into Maine, on I-95, the speed limit is 75.

St. Louis to Baytown, TX for Camaro5Fest. About 800 miles each way and it was a very comfortable drive. Didn't quite get to 20mpg (19.6) but I averaged about 85 mph for most of the trip (speed limit is 75 through east TX).

I live in South West Washington State . The car I bought was in Ohio . I flew out there on a Thursday evening redeye overnight flight from Seattle to Chicago , then a commuter plane to Columbus Ohio , then a 40 mile taxi ride to Newark Ohio . Got to the dealership around 10:30 am and hit the road around noon on a Friday . I drove 10 states, 2500 miles in three days and even hit the Sturgis Camaro Rally for a couple hours on the way home and made it back to work on Monday morning .

Longest for me was 286 miles doing all of the Skyline Drive here in VA (from North Entrance to South Entrance). I averaged about 18.5 MPG. I was surprised it was that good. I need to do longer cruises!

I drove 1786 miles (Left home on a Thursday 5:00am and back home Friday 3:00pm)...half in my CTS-V Coupe and half in my ZL1 to make the trade. I can honestly say that my drive home in the ZL1 was way more comfortable than my ride up. I know that sounds strange but true......

About 3,000 miles last summer from NH to MD (Camaro Nationals) then on to Sturgis for the Camaro rally with lots of twisting and winding along the way. Amazing ride for a car like this. Only the tornado sirens in Iowa really scared me and the rain convinced me to change to Michelin tires

Last year I went from Toronto, ON to Richmond, Va via Newark, OH for a traing course.
The drive home through the back roads in the hills was Excelent!

Then vacation was to Mont Tremblant, Quebec. Again Excelent twisty roads.

This years trip to family reunion in Newark, OH was kinda boring, plus a big scratch on front fender and bumper.
😢

Just came back from a 3,300 mile road trip from Venice FL to Toronto ONT and back. Made a detour to drive the Tail of the Dragon on the way back home. Averaged 17 mpg in my 650 whp ZL1.

66k miles and I'm still tripping. I take breaks to sleep, eat, work and spend time with family.

3200 miles starting the day I picked the new car up at the dealer on the way to this year's Hotrod Power Tour. Amherstburg, Ontario to Charlotte NC then long hauled to Wisconsin Dells WI and finally home to Tiverton, Ontario.
