LFX Catless Low-end RPM crap
Hey guys,
I have question how to improve low-end torque with catless setup. I got ARH catless downpipes... its sounds good, got little HP at high-end but at low rpms it noticeable diffrence to minus torque ;/ is x-pipe would help with that? Or need to back to cats and be happy again? Or weld something more to get right OEM torque from bottom? Please help |

Did you remove the factory H pipe section?

I wouldn't have though that it would have made that big of a difference (I thought the pipes would have had the opposite effect and increased torque) but you possibly lost torque due to a drop in cylinder pressures from the increased exhaust flow. Retuning the car might fix the issue.

Safe to go 2.5" all the way. Not sure if you'd lose any power in doing so, but if you did a doubt you'd even notice - I had 2.5" for a bit and didn't notice any difference.
