I averaged 20 on the trip out to Sturgis last summer. Those were all highway miles.

I've seen 20mpg+ on a nice 1.5 hr highway drive.
Around town I average between 13-14mpg.

I'm always right around 16.5 to 17.0 to and from work (mostly 45-55 mph with a few stops, slow downs, etc.)

I'm currently getting 17.5 L / 100 km, which is 13.44 MPG. I'm daily driving mine to work and back and the route consists of highway and lots of stop-and-go, bumper to bumper traffic due to constant traffic jams where I live.
When I go on a vacation or drive longer distances, I get 12 L / 100 km, that is 19.6 MPG. My record lowest fuel consumption was 11.8 L / 100 km or 19.93 MPG. |

You must have been hypermiling with no flooring the gas pedal at any point, because I was hypermiling mine and only managed 19.93 MPG over the distance of 165.63 miles (266.5 km). Were you cruising real easy?

I think we need an entire dedicated thread just for venting about significant others bitching about our driving style while riding with us in the car.

I just did part of that drive last weekend towards Toronto. The falls were amazing right?! On average, traffic was moving about 65-75mph (took my wife's 2017 jeep GC v6). Gas would have killed me in the Camaro going that fast. I only hit 18 mpg if I go <= 60mph give or take. |

Just set the cruise and let her go. Did the speed limit plus whatever wouldn't get you pulled over.

Same here - I usually cruise 7 to 8 MPH above the posted speed limit. I was never concerned about MPG. Especially since there was a $2,600 Gas Guzzler Tax on the MSRP.......

Meh, I didn’t buy it for MPGs. I have a daily driver for that lol.
However, it is quite impressive that cars today can have 600-700 HP and still get north of 20 MPG. |
