MRR M228 Front Wheel Offset Question

I am looking to buy a set of staggered 20x10 front / 20x11 rear MRR M228 graphite rims. I see the 20x10 (front) comes with two choices of offset - 23mm or 35mm. I am concerned the 23mm offset will look too aggressive with too much tire protruding past the fender. The 35mm offset is probably a good alignment with the fender but will reduce the clearance on the inside where I am concerned about clearance of the tire with the strut.
I am considering front tire size 275/40/20 and rear 315/35/20.
These will be going on a 2012 2SS/RS (with Brembo brakes.)
Does anybody have any experience with these rims and 23mm v 35mm offsets? Any clearance issues? Which offset is the popular choice?

+23 seems to be more popular. They will not stick out too far, you'll be fine. There's only about a half inch difference between the two.

Well I helped with the launch of these wheels and have done a large majority of the setups seen here (worked for a different shop at the time).

Most popular is the

20x10 ET 23
20x11 ET 43

This is the same setup the 1LE and Zl1 use. Nice and flush no rubbing, depending on the tire the tire can buldge out a bit on the front but once again no problems.

Let me know if you need any help.

Thanks guys, 23mm seems the popular offset choice.
One last question, any thoughts on how this rim set up will look with stock height suspension?

Those are the stock 1LE offsets so look at any 1LE out in the wild. At stock ride height with the stock size tires 285/35 in front you are aggressive but mostly flush with the top of the fender depending on camber. With a 35 mm offset you might have clearance issues with more camber and/or wider than stock tires. Rear is a tiny bit in at 43 mm.

My car is not lowered, but I run +35 offset with 20x10 wheels on all four corners and 285/35 tires.

can someone please tell me if the stock tires will work on these wheels? 20” M228 wheels in 20x9 et.25 and 20x10 et.35 5x120. I am in the process of buying them and have a brand new set of the stock Pirellis. I have a 2010 SS thanks
