Hello from Texas - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi All

Picked up a 2018 ZL1 over the weekend. This is my first Camaro that has had an automatic but not my first Camaro. I almost did not get the automatic but I'm glad I did. This thing is awesome.

I currently have a 2002 SOM SS that is absolute blast to drive.

I will say that my first impression of this car is that it drive as well as my wife's Escalade. It's a lot more comfortable than the 5th gen I use to have.

Currently the car has ARH 1 7/8" header and a roto fab intake. Will be bringing it to a local tuner at the end of the month. So far that is as much as I have planned for this car.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
