3.91 gear questions
I have been thinking about getting 3.91 gears into my M6 SS and have a few questions. Can I just get a set of gears like the ones GM offer from the 1LE and throw those in or will I have to swap/change other parts? And while I’m down there should I change anything maintenance wise?

If you go with the factory AAM 3.91, there is a good chance you won't need to change any shims. I'm not sure about when you go with aftermarket gears.

Only two things I know of is you might need a shim kit and you will need a tune afterwards or your speedo and odometer both will be off.
