American thunder catback w/ high flow cats?
I currently have jba high flow cats with the NPP and want that classic hollow muscle sound. From what I have read on here and seen in videos, the flow master American thunder is what I'm looking for. However, I can't seem to find a video or info on how quiet/loud it would be mixed with high flow cats. I've heard it with long tubes and it sound amazing. My concern is it will be too quiet and possible a downgrade from my NPP w/high flows volume wise. If anyone could post a video or let me know that would be awesome!

I ve got them on a 3inch cat back. Stock cats. It's got that classic muscle car growl most are looking for. I'm going to be adding a cam kit, long tube and high flow cats this winters project.

I can't imagine ever ditching the NPP exhaust, but I believe DRKS1D3 has what you are looking for. He's posted some videos on here if you search for some of his posts. It is indeed loud and sounds good. Believe it or not, when mated with shorty headers it deepened the tone and really set the exhaust off nicely.

Glad I could help. PM DRKS1D3 if you have questions about his setup. He’s always up for talking about his sweet ride.

The "hollow" sound comes from chambered mufflers devoid of any internal fiberglass packing. Flowmaster 40s (and I suppose the american thunders) or spintech pro streets will have it.
