I asked my lawyer about being pulled over and having the officer ask to pop my hood because he/she suspects my car is modified..Lawyer told to refuse the search when asked unless they get a warrant.

Are you telling me that California has cornered the market on stupid politicians, or bad policy? I thought this site and forum was about bringing people together around a common passion, not reverting to school-yard name calling. Can we all agree that this is a stupid policy and move on, or better yet, focus on way to constructively voice our opposition?
