Heck, I just got back on. Maybe everyone is out doing the "summer thing", even though it is so hot everywhere..

That's what Chevy Pilot wondered as well... it may be hot but I still wonder. Glad to see you are well and back!

It has been stupid hot lately! And on top of that... me being a USPS mail carrier... I'm driving around in the ancient LLV with no AC but hot air blowing on me daily ugh!

Oh man, that really bites!! Stay hydrated. When I'm working at the state park, I constantly have a cold water in my hand...

Someone at work once brought in a digital thermometer device to read the temps in their LLV. It detected a temperature reading of 128F. I have also read in some circumstances there have been readings anywhere from 118F all the way up to 132F. Imagine that! I actually have a TITAN backpack cooler that I bring with me daily that comes equipped with ice packs to put in both the front and back of the bag. It can fit up to 18 soda/beer cans ha! I usually freeze my water bottles and bring in some IV level drinks to keep me going throughout the day. Anyhow it sounds like fun working at the state park. It's always good to be outdoors with fresh air!

Wow, awesome! Looks like you have it figured out! And yeah, it is fun to volunteer at the state park, especially as it is on the Atlantic ocean! I get to meet all kinds of people from around the country, and the world! I'm a park safety officer, and love what I do for the park! Here is a live link to it. You can click on each still pic, and again and enlarge it, then page back out and look at the next one you want to see, and there is a short video you can watch that updates every 30 minutes or so, along with the stills. The weather data on the left sidebar updates every 30 seconds. It's open 24/7, 365 days a year.

Glad to see you back Wayne! I will be honest, I just have not been into my car with the heat this summer & not been that active here. I send love to all the C5 members. The mods I had planned for spring have not come to fruition yet.

Thank you my friend! I appreciate that, glad to be back! And thanks for checking in on me when you did. And yeah, I can agree with you on the heat deal, I too haven't been too much into my Camaro due to the heat being triple digit all the time. Heck, I only go to the early morning shows locally, most start at 8, and run to 12 or so, but I'm usually gone by 10. Just too hot to be in the sun on a hot pavement. If there are no shows, Ruby and I just go for a little therapy run, then back home, detailed and back under the cover.
