Any drawbacks to taking my vert to the car wash?
Thanks.

You won't have the pleasure of doing it yourself.

Car wash

No leaks? No discoloration of the top?
Thanks.

By "Car Wash" you mean a place, vetted by local collectors, that will hand wash it for you? No drawbacks there.
Machines and harsh chemicals will age your wafer-thin paint at breakneck speed.
It's best($$) to wash it yourself when you can.

Personally I have not had any issues with either my earlier 2012 Camaro ragtop or my current 2015 Green Flash ragtop going thru the car wash.

Well ours has not gone through a car wash since we owned it. Two bucket wash and a Adam foam gun which works great on the top. While in BG for Camarofest we found a u-wash place and it had a blow dryer so that was pretty nice. We take our Mazda 6 thru the car wash (brushless) and after a couple of washes I can see swirl marks.

Car washes will swirl your paint big time!!! I just got my paint corrected and ceramicoated so hand wash only from now on.
If you went through a touchless wash you would probly be ok though.
