So there's not really a solid yes/no in this thread, if you can't with the 1" and plenum spacer can I still keep the cover on with the 3/8" and plenum spacer? Provided that I get the oil tube extension and proper bolt to extend the engine cover stud

Yes, with the 3/8" insulator/plenum spacer combo you can still use your cover with part# 92068813 and raising the mounting peg a little less than 1" also.

Old thread how what did you use to raise the peg 1"? Whats the best way to extend the post?
