Since you asked, mine is.
Pohanka Chevy in Chantilly, VA

M-F 9-9
Sat 9-7
Sun 12-5

One large reason I bought there, extremely convenient hours.

What? I know most will not charge for a small repair (such as with Safelite chip/crack repair), but never heard of one that will replace a windshield free of charge - unless you have zero deductible comprehensive.

Might be a ma/new England thing. I know for a fact MA and rhode island have free glass replacement. Maybe due to salt trucks and fkd up roads from the ice?

Wow! Nice to get something for your tax dollars. That's cool.

Well my insurance will cover 100% and the dealer is going to make sure I get OEM glass. They are going to try to have their glass guy do it mobile and if I have to have it done at the dealerhship, they are going to get me a loaner car. So I am very pleased with them!

Windshield is a simple job. Try the dealership first and if they won't help then call insurance. Mileage has no bearing on the matter

Get use to it. I'm on 3rd windshield with just 60k miles. All oem replacements. Just cheap glass or bad design of car. First time it happened the said a rock must have hit it, funny thing was it was below wiper just above defroster. I said ok. Next time it happened was almost same spot while car was in garage and had a/c on. This along with front end clunking and awful paint quality are the issues I deal with. If I had same luck in lottery I would not complain.

I had this issue on my 2015 LT with 30 miles on it. Wish I would've taken a picture now that I think about it.

It started from the very bottom of the drivers side and went up about 4 inches.

Dealer replaced it at their own cost as there was no rock impact damage.

In the state of Florida, windshield cracks and chips are repaired free of charge. According to Florida statute 627.7288, if you have comprehensive coverage on your vehicle your insurance company will pick up the tab for any repair or replacement that you may need. The law states that your deductible will be waived. In most cases, your insurance company will send someone to your home or office to replace or repair your windshield.

I have chips from rocks hitting but no cracks yet!!

the states mandate what insurance companies have to cover, and some make them cover glass replacement. in state that don't like mine (VA) you can usually buy glass coverage for a couple extra bucks on your policy. like tow coverage, rental coverage etc.
