ZL1 with a Z07 type package like the current Corvette Z06 has. Then again, it could be a Z/28. Doubt it though.

+1 for 4 reasons

1. timing...too soon for new Z/28
2. do the development on the ZL1 as a special package
3. heads up display means all options...not a Z/28 thing
4. hood scoop is same as ZL1 (I think)

Ppl still on the fence over that new look , no pun intended . Thinking that rear spoiler /wing will be more flush with the trunk keeping it more in tune with wicker bill style.. I PRAY

That's why it's called development to give all of us a great car in the end. Hate to see it happen, but, it happens. Glad all look okay.

I just absolutely refuse to believe this is a Z/28. Like I sad earlier, This is a ZL1 with an upgrade. Front tires are alot skinnier than the rears and the Z/28 has a square setup. This is going to turn out to be a ZL1 with a Z28 upgrade......... Maybe they will call it a Z28 and not a Z/28

The same people complaining about the rear wing will be the first to quote downforce numbers to their buddies at a bar and also numerous other message boards. Some might add something said by Al about the wing to their signature.

True story.

No prob. I found out about it in a story about some dealers kid who wrecked one. It's not like Chevy advertises it. Sweet looking ride though

For taking on an impact like it did, it certainly held together well! Kuddos to the driver for exiting the track so quickly. Not only does it surprise me the car held together so well, but it also assures me the quality of the build is pretty great. If this had been any other cheap mass produced car... it'd have exploded into a bunch of pieces. Just like the lad with the Z/28 in the United Kingdom... he took the entire bench out with its concrete anchors, with minimal damage to the car.
