Sto n Sho

With all the police driving around right now because of the protests, i figure I better get a plate on the front of my car. Don’t want to give them a reason to pull me over and give me a ticket. I don’t want to drill into my bumper and I don’t like the ones that attach to the tow hook. So, that leads me to the sto n sho. Do any of you have experience with this plate holder? I like that I can simply remove it (or put it on if I do get pulled over). Is it durable and sturdy?

Absolute best, caSStro, you won't regret it. Mine is 2 years old, no rust, still a snug fit, works perfectly and it's near invisible.

I had one on my 2016 V6 for 3 yrs, Moved it and modified the bolt location to fit my 2017 Mustang and now have it on my 2019 Camaro SS. Well worth the cost

Awesome! I just found it on Amazon for $66! I double checked to make sure it’s the one that is made for cars with a splitter. It says it’s for 2017 Fifty models, but I’m pretty sure my 2018 SS has the same mounting points. Anyway, I checked a few minutes ago and it’s back to $80. So I just have gotten it at a discount somehow. Interesting.

It's the best solution I found, never run front plate and havent been stopped yet. But have the "forgot to install after last wash" response ready if I ever do. Its sits in the trunk till then!

That is so funny! That’s the same exact excuse I was thinking of. Just washed the car and “forgot” to put it back on.

I have it on my 1LE. I think it is the perfect solution. With the plate on, I do scrape the plate on my driveway when backing out, but the lip doesn’t scrape.

I just installed it on my car last week. It is made of very good materials. Took about 10-15 minutes. Getting all the tools together took longer than attaching it. Plate hopefully will never have to be on but now I am ready just in case.

I'm tempted to zip tie the ring on the one i got for my girl's car (i dont use a sto n show on mine). It's way too easy to just remove the front plate just walking by if some kid just wants to be a dbag.

I was thinking about that. I can just remove the ring and when I want to take it off insert a paper clip to pull the pin.

I have it on my 2018 SS. Love the ease of install and how easy it is to remove the plate. Definitely recommend.
