Guys This is the Car 67ss/rs was refering to but I don't know any of the details as to what happened. you would have to take that up with the dealer ship. As to mileage I didn't even look at it.

Other than all the bad press about the car, it is a sharp looking car.

I'd say 67SS/RS should contact the local newspaper, radio stations and file a claim through an attorney at the local courthouse. (not that you really want it, but it might tie it up so the dealer is stuck with it until the dealer sees things 67SS/RS way.)

67SS/RS,

It now becomes race for justice since the car is back up for sale unless you like to be taken advantage of and letting the dealer off with screwing you and the next potential owner.

Actually I sent e-mails to two local papers and all the local affiliates of ABC, CBS and NBC yesterday for him. And surprise surprise. Not one response. Although interesting that the vehicle showed up in the showroom the next day. Guess maybe they want to do some damage control by not letting the youngster getting photographed cruising it. Just would like to see more consequences for this type of behavior.

Sorry if this was posted in 67SS/RS's post. But was the ordered car pretty much what he had ordered, or did they just use him name and order what they wanted for the showroom/kid?

He ordered the car on Oct 13, 08 and they told him a week ago that the car was cancelled. He then came to find out that they just told him that so that the managers son could use it so he could go to the prom in it!

You guys really crack me up. You just assume that the dealer did something wrong here. I was told up front that they would have a 5k mark up just like every dealer I went to. you do not know the whole truth but yet you continue to complain. If you got your car at MSRP then thats great, but I bet 90 percent of you who say the didn't pay over MSRP are liars.

As for what happened with 67ss rs I don't know the true story and niether do you guys. You only know what he typed in this forum which could be the truth or very far from it.
