Matching 6000k Headlight and Foglight HELP!!

Before I start this post.. I have used the search function and google search plenty of times with different queries and I have not come up with anything close to an answer.. After spending the past 2 hours going nuts over this, I have finally decided to move on to a new thread..

I want to upgrade my factory hid light to a 6000k headlight bulb. There are plenty of places that have them, so that isn't the real problem.

I want the foglight bulb to match my headlights. Here is where the problem comes in. I hear problems with hid lights, or that they are way too bright, and then I have heard that LED bulbs don't match. I had contemplated going the yellow route, but as stated in another thread Im not too sure about that route.

Has anyone done this with success? And if so what method did you choose?

Im going to stop before this thread turns into a rant.. This is pretty much the only other cosmetic thing I want to do with my car as of right now because I'm more focused on my motor and drivetrain but I figured I would get the cheaper stuff done first.

Thanks in advance!!!
