If anyone is interested I have stock wheels off my 2011 SS RS that I don't want. Make me a offer. (CHEAP) They are taking up space in my garage and I'm tired of looking at them..

.Ended up working and not going.. cars not rdy to run anyhow. Oh well.
Id run the fake or no cats.. My car does have a bit of a gas smell at times but i dont mind.. jus gotta stay outa deep mud so i dont buckwild kill myself.........

Oh, she made it home today. I want to get Chevy to at least document the 2nd gear grind before i start voiding the warranty.

Pretty descent turn out today at PRP!!!! Some nice cars and runs! So far had about 5 break...

Is it really that bad in yours?

My 2nd gear grinded at first when I got it in the early spring when it was really cold in the morning, but if I let the tranny heat up with a couple 1->3s I'm usually good. Just something to consider.

No, I had run it at the strip last year and i was getting so mad at it that I was sort of wishing it would just pretzel the damn shift forks. I know the difference between a mild clunk or feeling a tooth or two and this thing that at WFO slam shifting it feels like your seriously going to bend/break the shifter or scatter internals. Maybe yours is better than mine or maybe you don't shift in the fashion that i do. I shift like I mean it. I have with many cars and have only one other time had an issue and that required a new trans after it scattered its guts (2006 Mazdaspeed6 AWD 6 speed turbo).

It was a bad day for my car. Made two runs and it broke up above 5500 rpm both times. Stabilitrack light came on and pulled timing like a mofo. Didn't even bother finishing second run. I really wanted to make a hero pass with the awesome da today. Not to be. Does your car have hpe wheels?

I had the same issue with my GT500, same transmission. It's not a tranny issue.

I fixed it with stiffer motor mounts, torque limiters and a shifter.

It is not a tranny issue, it is caused from torque bind, since the shifter is body mounted.

try power shifting at redline.
