#7807 made it home to Los Angeles

Hello All,

Just wanted to share some pics of the Black 2LT/RS w I/O interior and Ground Effects that I ordered back in March. Picked it up earlier today from Don Steves in La Habra, CA from my salesman Ron Drake who was great to work with. Very upfront, no BS. Bought it as MSRP. Since I was teh first to take delivery from the dealership, they took photos of the car and I along with Ron. Kinda felt like a douche doing it, but whatever. It was real cool of them to be so excited for the dealership and myself to be taking delivery.

I feel bad because I was the 2nd V6 in their allocation and the 5th overall order, but mine was the first to be delivered.

The car is every bit more beautiful than I hoped for and is a head-turner for sure. I thought I was definitely going to be painting the ground effects, but to be honest, I think it looks pretty damn good as is (even though the photos might not show up as well as it looks like in person). In fact, as good as all the photos on here that I have seen, the Camaro is absolutely stunning when you see it in person.

What do you all think, is it worth the extra $600-$800 to get the GFX painted?

Figured I'd post 1 photo and a link to a gallery I uploaded so the thread isn't littered with photos.

The Camaro is very much worth the wait, and I thank everyone on here posting all the great info as it was has kept me going while I was waiting and informed as to all the positives/negatives about the car. So far, no complaints from my end. The car is everything I hoped and more. The interior quality being poor is EXTREMELY over-exaggerated. It is very much in line with the price-point and of very good quality. Night photos to be added to the gallery soon.

Check them out below.

you should paint the ground effects. they look a bit detached to the car - you know what i mean. a little separate.
by the way, are those square exhaust cuts stainless steel, metal or same material as ground effects but painted silver?
beautiful car overall.

Hey how did you get the silver trim around the windows? Is that an LT thing? All the other black Camaro pics I've seen had black trim.

Looks great.

the square lip exhaust cutout around the body kit is chrome with a steel inner housing.

They are actually not chrome (I actually had to double check). It's just the glare from the sun.

Thanks for all the comments. I actually think I am going to paint the GFX as well as blackout the bowties.
