Valve seals

Hey guys I have the jannetty racing 470 cam kit installed in my LS3. Getting a puff of blue smoke on initial start up. I have narrowed it down to valve seals. I am going to replace the seals next week. My question for you guys is, my friend has some Comp cams Viton Steel jacket valve stem seals. They are .500 guide size and the part number is 511-16. He says they are for a ls1 but he thinks they are the same for the LS3. Does anybody know what the deal is with these seals? He said I could have them I just need to make sure they are the right ones before I tear into it.

511-16 are the right ones. 16 is the quantity. if you need your car up and running get a couple extras from a speed shop if they sell singles. 511 is the part number 16 is quantity so 511-1 is single.

o if you dont already know use a 12mm deep socket if you dont have a tool to press them on. tap until you hear the noise get deeper. i have 14 extras as I damaged one on my 1st attempt. Use a metal hammer not a rubber one. My speed shop only has the 16 sets. Then what do I do when I get back. pop one on and forget to put the spring seat on 1st
