With the Nickey Stage ii cam and package, they sound like an aggressive vintage muscle car at idle, and like vintage L72s, L88s and/or ZL1s etc, with open headers

Fantastic build I love the progress pics as well as the small details put into the complete build IMHO this is a step above the rest no cheap builds here.
Great job hope we can hear the startup w/ the dumps closed and open. Sean

Ok guys....here's the numbers I got off the Dyno Sheet. I was told you lose 18% from the flywheel back. Does the 18% sound high? Anyway the 600+ HP at the motor is as advertised! I couldn't be any happier! NicKey is 100% plus in my book.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix. The crank HP vs RWHP percentage is a rule of thumb. There are many variables which can affect the outcome.
We test on the engine dyno with no accessories and car headers and have attained more than 600hp with our Stage II N/A option on 93 octane. |
