I know the difference between a 1LS and a 1LE, thanks.
I meant to type LS is not manual only, my error for adding the 1.

My insurance stayed the same from 1LT to 1SS and i'm over 40 also. What i never would had of imagined was going from my 11' Versa to my 12' Camaro my insurance went down.

Whats wrong with the gearing?
It has taller gearing for (slightly) better fuel economy. I think it's the only v6 auto rated at 30mpg. If that's what you're looking for, that's great, but it's not widely known that it's different and I've seen a number of people that have posted they didn't even know that when they bought one. It's probably just as marginal a decrease in performance...but it bugs me.

Sorry, got you confused with the OP.
Regardless, if you don't engage the power band then you can still max out the gas mileage.

chances are a single turbo won't spool under 2k revs, and a twin may barely spool at that.

Again I meant to say the LS in not a manual only car. Only the LE manual only.

What is funny my insurance is less on our 1lt convertible than it was on our 2001 Chevy Tracker.

Got it. My reply that you quoted was to DagoCountyGee's post where he asked "Isn't the 1LS strictly a stick shift?" if that's where the confusion started.
