I was looking at the same wheels a year ago. The reason why I didn't buy them was because they are gravity cast. They are really only suited for DDing, and are not recommended for track use. Gravity cast is a very porous process, and won't give you the strength needed for track use.

I'm getting these bad boy in 19x9.5. Reason being because they are rotary forged. No less than that casting process for me.

Just looked into Formula43 wheels and for a 19x10.5 its around 900 each so its not that expensive compared to the other brands mentioned

Ya i'm a little worried about it. That's why I'm kind of resigned myself to keeping the stock wheels. They're heavy, but they're also pretty strong, and relatively cheap.

You could do tsw nurburgrings. They are not badly priced and use the same process as forgestar I believe. But yes, when it comes to wheels be prepares to spend some money

^ for ultra light weight wheels they are not allot of $$. and for the quality of wheel that your getting they are extremely good value.

I think the Nurburgrings are still in the $1100 range? I can keep the stockers for now. They look sharp, they're just kinda heavy.

So, to revive my old thread: If I switch to the Nurburgrings in the spring, and go with the super sports, I end up losing something like 80 lbs of unsprung rotating mass.

Combined with the MRTv2's on my car, means my car is actually 100 lbs lighter than stock.

Is that enough that I'd notice a difference in the street? How much of an impact will lighter wheels have on handling?
