My wife used to drive mine daily when I took her Jetta due to my long commutes. She takes better care of the care than I do. Lol. She used to drive my STI so she is used to the power. The hard part was trying to get the car back from her when I changed jobs.

same here, my wife has driven the Camaro once and told me never again unless it's a dying emergency.. Same when I had my 300c SRT, and my '71 Mach 1 Mustang; she is scared of the power, And considering all she has ever owned and driven in her 54 years is 4 Toyota Camry's from 1980 to 2006 models I can understand it.

Wife can't drive stick, but I'm sure she'd be able to handle this car. Its a lot more easier to drive than my previous built t/a with McLeod clutch lol. She uswd to drive my lt1 camaro auto and then after it was ls1 swapped with a th350 ... I'm gonna take her out and re-teach her stick eventually.

I let my wife drive mine once in a parking lot before we were married. She had a hard time engaging the clutch all the way cause her legs are short and she was scared of the power. She's never asked to drive it since.

Because, if I let the girlfriend drive it and the wife finds out I'll be in big trouble.

LOL, Mrs. Number 3 has been to two driving schools and led Corvette parade laps on a number of tracks including Indy. Can't perpetuate your stereotype here.
I have a lot of people I don't want driving my cars and my wife isn't one of them. And yes, she can drive a stick and actually prefers it to an automatic.

My wife is a horrible driver...so much so that I had to PAINT street signs on the garage to keep her from turning the wheel of her car to the left or right when pulling in to prevent her from hitting EVERYTHING. Not a joke. (She once hit my snow blower clear on the other side of the garage 12 feet from her spot..and could not tell me how or WHY she was in sideways!!!) There is a HUGE No LEFT turn sign, a HUGE NO Right Turn sign directly in front of her spot. The walls have been padded. She drives HER car and NOTHING else. She currently has a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the black plastic bumpers and fender guards...easily replaced with NO paintwork. I keep spares. Hence, she does NOT drive my Camaro, the company truck, the forklifts at work...nothing else. Just the Jeep.
