Not only is the gen5diy kit cheaper but it's actually programmed right and upgradable
All leocelular's posts are related to mylink and it seems like leocelular want's something as easy as swapping headunits and not the rest of the work behind the installation. Though there may be a language barrier so I'm not sure I am reading into it accurately.

This mod is not a buy and swap for either Autotechspa or Gen5DIY.

Gen5DIY's is set up properly for your specific CANBUS via GTPPrix's custom calibration/programming.

I'd suggest purchasing a kit from Gen5DIY and follow the DIY that will be provided or hire a person capable of doing the install.

Should chevy ever have any important future updates to MYLINK '13 you have an option to send it to GTPprix for the new updates.

I just received my Nav kit from Gen5DIY yesterday and Installed it this morning, man I love it!!!! I will be posting some pics in the morning, but I had to get on and give the guys props for great customer service(Especially the patience with my many questions). I will even go as far to say it was the best I have had in the auto industry. I wish they would sell more stuff so that I could buy everything from them!! A good price is great (Which they have great prices) but good customer service is where it is at for me.
Thanks again guys and I will be recommending you to everyone.

Gen5DIY MyLink/NAV Installation

I received my MyLink/Nav kit about a month ago. I finally got the time and weather to do the install and everything appeared to go seamlessly. I rechecked all cabling 3-4 times before powering up for testing but I have not display on the touchscreen. The unit appears to be getting some power because I can control the A/C, flashers, and radio on/off/volume from the new faceplate. I pinned out the cables again using a multimeter for continuity and everything seems correct. Has anyone experienced this problem with the new faceplate?

Assistance greatly appreciated!!!

I have a 2011 1SS, do I need to install the blue tooth module in the console before I put this in?

Just to clarify, buying a used radio with the vin won't be of any use?

Thanks

I hope you are still selling these next year. I'm about to move so can't tie up funds right now. This is such a great mod.
