Babbling brook built into dashboard!

FIXED - SEE LATEST POST BY ME

Not sure if the heavy rain here in the Northeast - or condensation has anything to do with this major issue.

I have a lot of water in the fan area or the heater core. Nevertheless, I put my fan on 1 and I hear water sloshing around. I put the fan all the way up and water splashes on the inside of the windshield.

I am a little pissed that this has happened already at 550 miles!

(Above water splashing on inside of windshield)

I recorded the sound as well - trying to upload

You must have accidently hit the humidifier switch Seriously keep the fan off so you don't get water in other unwanted places and take it top your dealer.

I could be a plugged drain on the AC.

Hurray for mold. Make sure they clean that out good or it will start to smell real nice in there.

Your airbox is not draining. There should be a hole and tube in the bottom.

They will have to either remove the blower or maybe even take the whole dash out to fix.

*I am afraid of mold now - had this issue on a vw (ended up trying to resolve the issue for 3 months - they ended up buying the car back)

BG Products Fridgi-Clean and BG Fridgi Fresh.

That's for old cars with mold or dirt in the evaporator. The drain has to be working of course. It's like oven cleaner but you drill a hole in the housing and it foams in. Then drains out.

Dry everything as best you can, and get a product called damp rid. You set it in a container and it pulls the moisture out of the air. Then throw the water/liquid that forms in the container away. Repeat till no more water/liquid forms or greatly slowes down. If you use it you will see what I mean.

No, no, don't use chemicals, find a place with a drive-in oven or kiln!
Liquids take the path of least resistance or highest cost to fix, which is usually in a beeline for any exposed electrical parts. Once water realizes it can penetrate the car's defenses, it will begin plotting and scheming to ruin your life, and within six months you'll have the TPMS sensors mysteriously perishing at sea, you'll go to check the pressure and get squirted right in the eye; you'll have to smear POR-15 all over yourself and your family before you pile in for the drive to get your tetanus shots, every time it rains you'll think you're driving a british car with Lucas crap in it; someone will flush a toilet thirty miles away in a slight breeze and your headlights will sneeze!
