Moved to SoCal - Need to ditch longtubes

Just moved out from Colorado, and moving to Venice. Been rocking a set of Doug Thorley Long Tubes with no cats and SLP loudmouth for the last 2 years. Needless to say... as much as it pains me, I'm thinking its time to go legal(ish).

Wondering what exhaust set ups you guys are running without getting too hassled?

Also open to a swap if anyone wants the longtubes and willing to do the work.

If you have an LS3 and need manifolds and cats, shoot me a pm. I'll make you a great deal.

I have the L99, I'm running MagnaFlow catback. Wanna go with LT's, but as you're realizing, it's not a good move. GLWS or trade!

since you're moving, you need to smog the car to register it here. Otherwise I'd say keep them on.

I run long tubes near San Francisco with no issues with harassment. My car isn't too loud unless I'm on it. The smog check to register the car is pretty much your only concern

I have the California Legal JBA Ceramic Coated 1 3/4 Shorties and they are great headers.

I'm going with either Turbonetics or Maggie as they both have a CARB # for our cars. I can then make some GREAT power and still be emissions legal in California or ANY state in the US.
