I need a gauge or away that can read for me the percentage of E85,
And tills weather the flex fuel sensor is active or not

The flex fuel kit that you have installed communicates directly with the ECU. You can run HP Tuners Scanner to monitor ethanol percentage, as well as EFI Live, and possibly other tuning platforms. If you don't have access to any of those, Aeroforce sells a gauge that will read ethanol percentage.

You could also use a digital voltmeter, one that has the ability to measure frequency, to ascertain whether or not your sensor is working correctly.

The sensor utilizes three wires: Vcc (12V/ignition), Vout (Sensor output), GND (battery ground).

By measuring frequency between the GND and Vout wires, you can determine if your sensor is working. The frequency window is 50-150Hz (50Hz=0% ethanol, 150Hz=100% ethanol.)

You could try to measure voltage, just know that it is a pulsed DC voltage, so you'd need a scope-type meter to see it accurately.

^ Part of having the sensor installed is also to be able to make use of it. I used HPtuners and it does show that I correctly put the white wire to the pin on the ECM. Because it reads output from the ECM to the OBDII. You did not mention having a proper tune for the e85. You need to change the fuel from no e85, and don't select virtual sensor (like my silverado had even though it is supposedly flex fuel) and do select the "sensor". So it enables real reading of the ethanol. The fuel and spark tables need to be filled IIRC they are empty with the factory tune. You want to take advantage of much more spark advance with more ethanol, and make sure you give it more fuel as ethanol increases. The stock fuel injectors and fuel pump can not provide enough fuel to run full e85 fuel even with a sensor and tune. It will run lean and possibly destroy your engine. I don't know how much of this you already knew but I'm trying to be helpful to you.
I'll check later today if my cheaper simple OBDII readers I got from amazon.com will read ethanol with their app on a smartphone.
Edit: I tried my "bluedriver" OBDII dongle and it's Iphone app. It says "vehicle not supported" under the ethanol option. I have a different OBDII dongle that uses only PC or Android app I'll try that but not now.

Here ya go, http://zeitronix.com/Products/ECA/ECA2.shtml You can buy just the gauge and wire it into your existing flex sensor

Dashlogic works for reading ethanol percentage. I have mine displayed on the head unit.
