I believe the ABL uses diffused LED bulbs behind the colored panel which diffuses them some more. Like taking a lamp and putting the shade over the bulb, and then putting a pretty colored shade over the first one.

HP isn't defined by 1SS or 2SS... its defined by Auto or Manual. 1ss auto=same as 2ss auto, thus 1ss manual= same as 2ss manual You just get extra "Fluff" with the 2ss.

Go with the 2SS if you had to purchase any options from the 2SS pacakge later I'm pretty sure it will add up more then the package price IMO

After researching and searching about seats in 1SS, I am still a bit confused, maybe. The 1SS, the second from top of the line, does not come in leather? I have never heard of that before. The booklet says 2SS gets "Leather-appointed front seat trim with SS embroidery".
The "seat trim" is throwing me. Its makes it sound like it has extra leather. All I want it leather and nothing more. 3000.00 for leather is hard to swallow. PS. I know the 2SS has more than leather, but its all usless to me. I don't need all those gadgets in a muscle car. That stuff is for those fat a$$ soccer moms in their tahoe's, suburbans, and escalades. Looks like I have to give up the ground effects for 2SS to get leather. Can I get ground effects later as dealer add on? |

Leather only comes with the 2LT/2SS models, if seats are all you care about on the upgrade I would really consider a 1SS plus some nice Recaro's. Ground effects only come as a dealer installed option.
