But I am and old man who has been battling stage IV colon cancer for 5years +...and there are simply times (due to treatments), I cannot hand wash my car...and sadly at times I must use a car wash. Now my car is lowered 1" with LT headers. I have maybe 4" clearance. Anyone in the same boat able to take their car through, say, a crew car wash without scraping?

But check with local places on Yelp. Usually the lowered car people will comment and recommend places.

Im sure we do. I just haven't been able to attend any. Finally retired in late 2019...so I should have time to attend a few now.

We use the group me app. Great way for everyone to keep in touch, talk about cars and sell/trade stuff. I bet other states use the same app

Man, keep up the fight!!! We all beat the drum here about the importance of our vehicles but our personal health is #1! Maybe check out one of the "touchless" water/soap spray only washers, watch who else goes through to observe clearance issues. I blast my truck through there after a weekend in the mountains and they actually do a pretty good job. Maybe once or twice a year throw in a good wax job (by you OR a trusted individual) and you should be ok. Pullin' for ya!!!

Taking care of yourself is a way bigger priority than taking care of a car. Does GroupOn have anything for mobile car washes in your area?

Any neighborhood teenagers who'd want to make a few bucks washing your car while you supervise their work?

Sadly, in my area there are no touchless washes (most have closed) and the coin ones are usually broke. Crew sucks...most have eliminated the spray wash.
Wish I had a few extra bucks...there is a little gold mine car wash just down the street from Lucas Raceway Park thats been close for years...in great shape.... has both spray and touchless..but I think its in some kind of litigation.
Ah well, the sun was out an 48*...so it got a quick hose down and a dry off in my warm garage.

Yes, there are a few mobile washes and detailers around here. I may use them as the weather warms.
