I'm looking at the ZL1 hood insert to install on my oem SS hood. I'm just curious if the cowl part is the same height on both hoods or are they different?

Both should be 1.5 on the height. I read that somewhere on her a while back.

I put the ACS=ZL1 in the OEM hood on my 2010 1SS/RS myself and have never had a problem. There might be a difference. The OEM is seated even with the top of the hood. Where as the one I put in sits on the outer part of the hood 1/4 inch above the hood.

If you have a stretch screen just stretch the picture and you can get a real good look at it.

Yea looks like in the reflection on your windshield and the hood that the sky isn't so dense in these pics. Nice bro!!
