So I'm tired of waiting

I'm tired of waiting for the Scosche Double Din Dash Kit.
I'm going today to buy the Metra Double Din kit with the Alpine INA-W910

Maybe I'm blind, but the display on that radio says its running an iPod? Where is it connected to? Does it utilize the USB port in the center console?

Nice Picture! That is from my car - absolutely love it. Yes I use the Ipod from the USB port in the center console. I bought the Alpine 910 for $1,100.

I am sure when the Alpine come out I will buy it, but as the op says - tired of waiting!

I think the Metra has a much better look and feel to it. You can also customize the color of the top display to any color you desire. I made the Kenwood and Metra kit match the Camaro's light blue interior lighting.

The USB cable in the center console does not work with my system. I bought a special cable that does audio & video...you can play your iPod/iPhone videos and movies too!

If you've never seen one working here is a link to video of the Metra kit in my car with a Kenwood: http://youtu.be/kFqA_EcxGJM

Does the nav on the 910 have lane assist? that's where it shows you which lane(s) you should be on in preperation for the next manouver?
