Moon was very, very good. Dan Pasterini (?) was also very good.

He threw a lot of yards... great. Show me a ring. He also owns one of the greatest chokes of all time too.

The oilers defense kept them from advancing, not warren moon. Didn't the defense give up a 32 point halftime lead in a playoff game to the Bills with the backup QB Frank Reich at the helm? If the defense can't hold a 32 point lead, that's more of the issue than the QB that got you the lead.

Wish the Lions would have got him as a free agent the same year the brought in the horrible Scott Mitchell. Maybe Moon, Barry Sanders and Chris Spielmen all could have gotten their ring together. Oh well, that's the Lions, one playoff victory in the Super Bowl Era.

Yeah, but who really owns the loss? When you reach the playoffs or SB at that level, who owns the loss as the leader of the team?

Ask Dan Marino what he thinks.

There are a lot of Great QB's that don't have a Ring! and then you have a Doofus like Trent Dilfer that has one. A Ring does not equate to Greatness

Warren Moon... 20 years
W/L* Cmp% Yds TD Int
102-101 57.95 70553 435 310
(*94 CFL games not added, no W/L record I can find)

now compare that to, say...

W/L Cmp% Yds TD Int
186-79 65.3 71940 539 251

Ask Dan Marino if he would have had Dilfers or Johnsons defenses if he would have won a superbowl, or rather how many would he have won?!
