This is my Setup tell me what you think?

So I have been on the forum a lot but don't really post to much just like to keep it simple. I have been Drag Racing for about 20 years stop around 2005 family became more important, now I am back at it and have had my ZL1 for almost 3 years I do all my own work just not the tuning part.

So with out taking up to much of everyone's time here is what I have:

2013 ZL1 Auto "Bolt Ons Only"

Tuned by Rick at Unlimited Performance in Corpus Christi

Dual AEM wide bands

Metco Setup for pulleys and relocation bracket
2.40 upper
9.55 lower

Texas Speed
2in Longtubes w/ header wrap
Hi Flow Cats
Factory exhaust with bullet mufflers

Plugs and wires

Ported stock TB "did my self"

160 thermo

Solid isolator

Rotorfab CAI w/ header wrap

My own custom made Chiller Box with Factory pump and twin 1000 pumps

Fuel system was only 1000cc injectors on stock pump but got to the point where my fuel pressure would drop to 46psi at full throttle so working on tuning new system where I added the twin pumps to switch to E85

Stock tranny, stall, gears and driveshaft

Suspension:
Front
Removed front sway bar
Stock front struts

Rear
Only thing lacking is coilovers drag shock and lower control arms everything done with BMR and prothane bushings

Car is not lowered

Auto Power 4 point roll bar

Wheels:
Old setup
Weld RTS 17x4 fronts w/ M&H 28x4.5
Rears Race Star 18x10.5 w/ Hoosier DR 325/45/18

Best time with that setup was 10.42@ 137mph with 1.5 60ft but at San Antonio Raceway prep is not always good so I avg low 1.6 60s

New setup for wheels and tires:
Still a Weld RTS 17x4 w/ M&H 28x4.5

New rear is Weld RTS 17x10 with Hoosier 28x10 Slick

Car weight: 4064 with me and 1/4 tank of fuel.

Have not made a pass yet on new wheels and tires or E85 setup

My Goal is to be the baddest ZL1 in the Nation with only Bolt Ons and break into the 9s

I have done some research trying to find the fastest ZL1 with only bolts one and so far I have come up with almost a 10 flat car, if anybody out there know a different faster car please share a link or info so I know for sure what the current record is.

So that is my car in a nut shell

You are spinning the crap out of that blower. I know you are going e85, but with that much boost you may want to go with a meth system as well. Pull the back seat and passenger seat and on a good day ypu should be very close to your goal.GL

That is awesome, glad to see some one else is shooting for the same goal. Looks like you have a great car too.

As for the MPH not sure, this thing has always had a good mph. At first I was thinking the track was messed up but I have gone to a different track and still mph the same.

I will be back at the track on the 14th of this month to finish up the tuning and try out the new setup. I will post how it goes.

Good luck at the track

Already removed back seat, when I install roll bar.

As for boost I am at 17psi it is the original supercharger that came on the car I replaced the isolator instead of taking it in for the recall.

137mph says 10.0's if it would have hooked up, the extra power/torque from E85 will put you into the 9's with traction, I see you getting there with bolt on.

Awesome MPH and setup. What is your best 60' with and without the front sway bar off? The 60 foot may be where you will find your 9 sec slip. MPH is there. 15" wheel setup out back in -DA should get you there.

Sweet ZL1 Man.

Yeah you may have a 9.99 in it with the 137mph trap. I'm trapping 10.10 with a 156mph

Sweet ZL1 Man.
When I start adding power I never really ran the car with the front sway bar in.

Best with out it is 1.50 on drag radials and good track prep avg was low 1.6s

Since the 137mph I have added less weight on rear wheels full slick dropped 16lbs pre side added E85 and ported throttle body which now retuned is 3.5 more degrees of timing at full throttle and another pound of boost to make 17psi so I would like to see alittle more mph next time out.

Knock on wood we will see.
