50th anniversary SS pricing

I live in California and I've been shopping around for a 2SS 50th and right now it seems like the price nobody is willing to beat is $48,200 out the door.

HIGHLIGHTS:
MRC
NPP
A8
NAV (meh)

Any thoughts on the pricing? Is this even a good deal?
If not, should I be expecting any good discounts from Chevy in the near future?

What kind of pricing deals have you gotten?
Mainly, I just don't want to get cheated out of my money. I've already spoken to a few who have tried to take advantage of me.

Also, is MRC worth the money?

That's about right on the price. I searched for months for a 6 speed cuz I thought I would save by buying of the lot but in all reality the price is pretty much the same as ordering.

Look in AZ. That's what I did when no Cali dealer wanted to deal. Look at Courtesy Chevy in Phoenix and talk to Anthony in the internet sales dept. it was painless and I got a great deal from them.

MRC definitely worth the money to me.

I strongly considered doing this.. but the border hassle would have been too much.

If I was south of it - no question I would hit her up.

IMHO, a simple search on cars.com reveals a big glut in 50th Anniversary Camaros sitting on lots. It's a cool package with the unique color combo interior, suede gray knee pads, the front extension, etc. that I would buy for a good deal; but don't let any dealer try to make you think this is "limited production" worth less of a deal than any other Camaro. GM even cut some corners on this package by not having the black/orange stripe on the roofs of non-sunroof cars (like you get with center stripe option on "regular" cars), and the use of the same asymmetric wheel design on both sides of the car annoy some people like me (ie on one side of the car, the spokes point forward, on the other side of the car they point backward - they really needed to go with them in the same relative direction of rotation on both sides of the car).

Can anyone tell me what is a good price to pay for this build? I just want to avoid getting ripped off.

A good price would be 20% off MSRP plus some dealer incentives if you're asking me. It was done in the past for all Gen6 trims. This kind of incentives are gone for now, but the sales dropped radically when these incentives stopped. I only see about $4K off MSRP being offered right now by some dealers.

So it looks like it's a waiting game for this deal to show up again? Any idea how often this deal comes around?
