I guess I just don't get how you can get so butt hurt watching GM and Ford compete for best out of the box track car that can also be a DD. I think its awesome. We all win no matter which car we buy.

exactly^^
a lot of times they offset the release of the car so the better car sometimes relies on timing. |

I think it is hilarious how a lot of them have resorted to name calling and claiming the Camaro is ugly. I picture 5 year old children on the playground: "I have more toys than you... Ya well you're ugly!" The biggest whiners seem to be those that don't even own a Mustang. I hope to goodness that these people are not full grown adults.

Al O hasn't lied to us yet. They had the car benchmarked. Etc
It will beat the 350 and give the R a run for its money. If they make a z28... Lol |

All seriousness now, they have not lied performance wise though. GM has pretty much nailed everything performance wise they say their cars can do lately. If they are talking it up like this, I really don't see a reason to doubt them. |

I seriously doubt it was a response. This late in the game, I'm sure it was already planned.

I am sure it is a combination of things. I am sure the 1LE might have had something to do with it. Also if 6G is correct less than 10% of GT350's so far have been base models.

Am I the only one who thinks Ford doesn't have to respond to the 1le? I mean the regular GT is selling pretty damn well, they have the gt350, now that is going to come standard with the track goodies albeit at a higher price. So do they really need to make another track model to slot in-between the GT PP and the GT350? We know the R is the z/28 fighter, and most likely a GT500 is in the works, to combat the zl1. Do you think they would make an upgraded track package for the GT? Even then, its highly unlikely that it will match the performance of a 1le.

Looking at how the standard SS compares in figure 8, stopping and lateral G compare to the 350 already I'd be a bit worried at the 350 camp. I'm betting it hangs with the R.
