Like I said that was only 1 time at 66. Most times it's packed, lucky to get 2 or 3 runs in and IIRC they have raised the rates quite a bit. Yeah I try to stick to the left lane at GLD as well |

After my Oct Road America weekend, I'll try to hit GLD to see what I can get out of the car.. I'll have to put new tires on in the spring anyways, so it'll be worth it knowing I can just burn up the rears w/o trying to run a track day with them.

Not sure if anybody cares, but the track rental turned out great. It was extremely hot for October, but was a great time regardless. Track prep was awesome and the amount runs you can get in without waiting was great to. The car club that hosts it left their deposit already for their spring rental.
Unfortunately, only one Camaro was there and it was a 5th gen ZL1. Some Vettes, Hellcats, SRT Jeeps and Trailblazer SS' and me with my Chevy SS mixed in with a bunch of old school cars. When I get the details for the Spring rental, I'll post them in the regional section and extend the invite. Some footage from that day. I'm in a separate video so you won't see me in here. |
