They were inspired by Dodge apparently.

I guess I am in the minority. The front end and hood look great to me and I like the tail lights a whole lot better.

I can't stop looking at the pictures and still I can't find something good about that front end... especially for the RS (which is what I would end up getting).
I do like the rear end though. I'd gladly keep the 16-18 front with the 19 rear... And the wheels... the previous ones looked better. I really think I'll order a 2018 before they'ré gone... What sucks is that if I want to see one in person, I have to way for my dealer to have one... and the day they can get one, I won't be able to get a 2018 if I prefer it... so I'm screwed. |

I do like the new hood. I feel like the looks will grow on me after seeing it in person. I on the other hand, did not like the looks of the 6th gen SS compared to the bold retro lines on the 5th gen SS. AND Then I saw the ZL1 and fell in love.
I also think the looks have glossed over the addition of the new 10 speed going in the SS. This should continue to keep performance ahead of the mustang. With a great performing vehicle people will still buy it. I will be keeping my 18 ZL1. |

I have never had a Camaro before the ZL1 and I only got it because of the 6 gen looks. I have never liked the 5 gen. I am glad I got the one I have because I would not buy one now.

Thanks for posting this pic. First one I've seen from that angle and shows more of what I think makes me not like them. I could change my mind after seeing them in person, but I feel like I'd like them if they sunk in instead of protruding out like bug eyes.

I don't know who thought blacking out the front of these new cars and trucks make them look better, but I'm definitely not a fan. I thought Chevy had the trucks nailed until I saw the blacked out front of the 2019 Silverado. It's worse than the Camaro. At least they've left the ZL1 alone up front.

Maybe this is a plot to drive up ZL1 sales.

They could improve it alot by moving the bowtie up to the grill and painting the center of the nose.

I think Camaro just shot the 2019 sales figures in the foot. That ass end is hideous and the front is very hard to look at. Looks like Chevy hired a Nissan stylist. And they could have been so much better.
I'll bet Mustang sales will increase by a bunch. We can re visit this thread in a year.

They definitely need to move the flowtie up on the SS. Glad the ZL1 front end continues and prefer the new rear end even if just a tad. Looking forward to actually seeing them in person.
