Wild Cherry vs Radiant Red

I know Wild Cherry red is out and Radiant Red is in for 2023. Wild Cherry was my color of choice for the ZL1. What does Radiant Red look like in comparison?

Very similar in photos. While it seems the tinge of cherry is gone from this new dark red color, the actual hue is impossible to judge on an everyday computer or phone, you have to see one for real.

Where have you seen a photo of it? I haven’t been able to find anything yet. I wonder what the reason for the switch in colors was.

They always phase colors out and add new. No specific reason.

I figure maybe it fits in between Garnet Red and the Wild Cherry tintcoat. I think maybe if Wild Cherry wasn't available, I'd maybe consider Garnet Red, although it just doesn't seem to have the same pop in direct sunlight. Here's the Blazer in Radiant Red for comparison. I think it looks like Wild Cherry but more towards the Garnet Red. https://www.chevrolet.com/upcoming-vehicles/2023-blazer

Of course, this is on a computer monitor. It may be more stunning in person. I would probably go with this color just for the fact that it'll be a 1-2 year color, which makes it a little more unique even if it's just GM marketing.

FYI GearheadSS posted side-by-side sample pictures recently on here:

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...6&postcount=62

I believe that's the best comparison we have right now, until we get full cars side-by-side pictures.

I prefer the older Garnet Red to Wild Cherry. That being said, I'm not much of a fan of any darker red color.

I loved wild cherry. I liked how it wasn’t as dark as Garnet Red. I was torn between radiant red and rapid blue.
