Torco works great, is local, and cheap/easy to find. If you really need higher octane gas, I would use torco. That octanium posted above is basically the same thing, but torco has been around forever and is proven.

AZ 91 is definitely shitty gas, and adding some more isn't a waste, especially if you are modded or tuned. On a bone stock car, then yes, adding octane is a waste of money but for people with mods, blowers, turbos, etc AZ gas really does take less timing and make less power.

Don't know any in Chandler/Gilbert but I've been using 91 fine for over two years. But, my car has been tuned with my long tubes with 91 so I can't vouch for the issues that could occur with 91 and stock tune. YMMV.

this is exactly why I am switching over to a E85 system in my ZL1...the octane severely limits timing when tuning - and there is when it makes the big difference.

I don't live in Arizona but was wondering - why you can't get it there. Is it because of emissions? Or particular state regulations?

Torco works very well and we stock it here. But E85 is amazing stuff but no point unless boosted or high compression.
