2010 Camaro SS shifting issue only after sitting 5 or 6 hours

Hello, so no idea what's going on but I had my Camaro for 6 days now, it's an automatic with 30,000 miles. For some reason in the morning or after the car sits for 6 hours or so and you go to drive it, the vehicle seems to lunge, jolt while pulling out onto the main street. Fine when barely touching the pedal on my block but as soon as you give it a little gas it lunges and can't tell if it's a back firing noise or what at the same time. Does that for 3 seconds or so then it's fine the rest of the time driving it....Thanks for your time.
