Picked up my 1LE from DaSilva Motorsports

So I took my 1LE to DaSilva Motorsports in Kitchener and got a lil bit of work done to my car, below is the small list.

Custom Grind Cam by DaSilva Motorsports
BT Valve Springs and Retainers
BT 3/8's Pushrods
Katech C5R Chain
Ported and Shimmed Oil Pumo
TSP 1 7/8 Headers with Catless Leads
TSP 3" Catback exhaust
Nitrous Outlet Plate kit
Lingenfelter LNC-2000 Timing Controller
NOS 2 Stage N20 Controller
and some more im forgetting

Picked the car up today and its amazing, made 452whp and 420wtrq(on motor) on a dynojet and absolutely hauls ass. Made 383/370 stock. Work was clean and love the sound, its 100x better in person but below is an idle clip and a pic of the work...

Nitrous numbers will be up in a couple of weeks, had an issue with the Nitrous Solenoid not opening and couldnt get it tuned (bought the kit used for dirt cheap not complaining), So far very happy with the guys from DaSilva, quality work and Manny is awesome to deal with.

I'm glad you're happy with the work thats been done, at the end of the day, that is all that matters.

With that said though...are you sure that's right? 383rwhp baseline is right on par with other stock 1LE's but that is REALLLY low for one with the usual bolt-ons + cam.

This Camaro5 member's 1LE just made 446rwhp and 429rwtq bolt-ons only, no cam:

I'd rather have the extra 9rwtq the stock+boltons 1LE made over then the 6rwhp extra a cammed car made over stock and less torque.

The nitrous will definitely make up for it though!

There is probably more that can be pulled out of it, but its a conservative tune. There are also alot of other factors why some cars dyno higher than others. 70whp is about normal for cam/headers.

You are comparing apple to orange. You took the highest boltons dyno number ( which is way too optimistic and the result of an happy dyno) and compared it to what it seems a normal dyno. He gains 70rwhp which is really good for the mods.

Its totally irrevelant to compare results of 2 different dynos, on 2 different days and different weather too!!!

Let me tell you that my old 98' Camaro setup dynoed 387rwhp (h/c/e) on a mustang dyno. Ive destroyed a 01' Camaro with 422rwhp and many other cars that were putting way more to the ground than me!!!

The track will tell the real story, especially the mph if youre not setup for the 1/4 mile.

There is way too much happy dyno on the internet.

Congrats OP, I bet all my money that your car would destroy any boltons Camaro with 440rwhp LOL.

Why there is some nightfury cammed Camaro at 485rwhp and some around 425rwhp? ...it gives you an idea what is an happy dyno and what is a stingy dyno!

Me, Manny and Arun (the tuner) all laughed as there have been a couple people saying my number is "low", no one wants to think about the point that alot of people post Dyno numbers before SAE Correction. Also there are alot of factors to add into it.

Also some tuners do a Hero run on their setups, they tune the car to put out a huge number and then after they have that the pull back the tuning to be safe.

But some people believe everything they read on the net... just to set the record straight DaSilva Motorsports is the only place that lays a hand on my 1LE.
