Getting P0171 and P0174 with edelbrock SC

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. ....I bought this car with 15k miles and had the sc. It's at 18k now and am getting codes. Only thing I've done is install zl1 as a long shot to fix. I'm thinking of changing out intake manifold gaskets when I do injectors and fuel rail mod....I logged it with hp tuners. Things are fine for awhile then just get stupid on long trims. Been years since I tuned anything so not real sure what I'm looking at yet..

If you've got HPT then you know that those are lean codes. You say you have data logged it. Do you have a wideband? What is your commanded AFR and actual at WOT?

I have an aeroforce WB and gauge but still need to install it. Right now I'm a bit worried to go WOT if it's not getting enough fuel for some reason...

Yep I know what the codes are, but not sure where than looking for obvious vacumn leaks where to go from here. Because the car ran fine for months with no codes I have to assume there is a problem somewhere. Wondering if this is a known issue with gaskets not working with the edledbrock SC or the canned tune ruins 02's etc

Get that O2 gauge installed, and know for sure, Have you done anything to it recently? I think you're on the right track looking for a leak though.

I'll let some of the edlebrock users chime in on the last part of your question, but canned tunes don't cause this sort of stuff.

Thanks man. I have ID850's the JDE fuel rail mod and roto fab too. I may just throw it all on there with the wideband and do the intake manifold gaskets at the same time.

Frustrating I wasn't planning on messing with it for awhile

Any chance the MAF is dirty and giving incorrect reading?

Maybe... I'll have to see if the filter is a oil filter. Are the blade mafs cleanable with spray like the ls1's?

I think my new best friend from North Pole is on to something. I went to look at the MAF and its squeaky clean....but there was a bunch of gunk in the area the gasket is recessed in....the car dealer put a "micro bead" anti theft crap...total bs and I think it seaped down into the gasket area...

I had the codes...then installed zl1 pump...still have codes. Had it already so figured I'd throw a part at the problem!

can you post a log to have a better idea about when the lean condition happens?

you could also try to disconnect the maf and see
