I have been looking at Camaros since 2010 and finally was ready to purchase one. I was dealing with a Chevy dealer in another part of florida and I made very fair offers on 2 of their Camaros. The salesman flat turned me down and didn't even take the offers to the sales manager. So I was bummed out and decided to wait until 2013 Camaros became available and order one.
I went to have lunch with my wife the next day and decided to stop in at Sunset Chevrolet and take a look and see if they had gotten any new ones in I hadn't seen yet. ( I really wanted an Inferno Orange Camaro and Sunset didn't have one is why I had been dealing with the other Chevy Dealer. )
Tim McKinney showed me a Camaro they had just gotten in that was exactly what I was looking for. I made my offer and they gladly accepted and threw in quite a few extras at no charge. Tim Mckinney and the staff had a no pressure approach to my sale that I really like. Being a repeat customer, they also gave me a better deal on the car than I had asked for.

The glovebox lid on my car didn't close tightly without being slammed and Tim saw it as he was showing me how to operate everything on the car. He had service look at it and they ordered me a new one which was installed in less than a week. New one works perfect.

On my way home with the car my first phone call was to the owner of the other Chevy dealer who didn't even try to deal with my offers. To let him know I was calling him from my new Camaro and let him know they lost a sure sale because his salesman was a little too greedy. He was very apologetic and wasn't happy about losing the sale.

Just wanted to share my GREAT experience with Sunset Chevrolet in Sarasota, FL and thank Tim McKinney for his help in getting me into my dream car.

I won't name the Chevy Dealer here who lost the sale because it is a good dealer, I just got stuck with a salesman who didn't want to accept a fair price.

Good work and good for you not bashing the original dealer. A few of the guys would be jumping at the chance to thrash the 1st guy.
