The SS sits lower. I think this is the way to go my friend. I bought Eibach drop springs which made my V6 ride lower than the stock SS, improved turn in and produced less body roll but rebound or re coil over undulations is degraded and sudden bumps will bottom out the suspension.

Went the eibach way, never looked back. However it will be quite low and OP stated he didnt want too low. SS sits .5" lower then our cars so visually it will make a little differnence, the SS handles much better also going with the struts should make a drastic improvement. Match it with some sways and youll be even happier
Me I wanted the lowered look, so went with Eibachs, the improved handling was a bonus for me

Thanks everyone. I got the full SS setup, springs, shocks, struts and sway bars, paid $160 for everything (I think I did well on the price).Going to install over the next couple of weeks.

4583877[/URL]]I did the Full FE3 suspension swap, and it was a pretty noticeable difference. The sways are noticeably larger, and my car sits almost 3/4" lower (see Sig). It's a good idea if you can find the parts cheap. I think soon i'll be getting some Pfadt springs to go along with it, so i think it'll be just right.

I have the FE3 swap also. Remember that the V6 struts wont fit the SS springs. You have to get the SS struts also. That's what the FE3 swap consist of! But if you at looking for these now just try and fine some from a 2012 as they run the FE4 set up which is improved over the FE3!

BMR is working a V6 lowering spring. There are some differences in the V6 struts/shocks manufactored throughout 2011 and 2012 that if switched with the SS springs can possible become unseated.

I've only read about them coming separated of you don't change all the parts and only do pieces, ie just the springs. Ive not seems a problem when a full swap has been done.

Yes, that is what I said. If you keep the v6 struts/shocks depending when manufactured and you swap to ss springs or lowering springs you risk it coming unseated.

I will have to check to see if I have that comment I got from a vendor on here when I was looking for lowering springs.

Sorry I misunderstood what toy were saying Either way I'm not worried as I'm swapping for a full SS setup.

How much would it cost to have the SS setup installed on a V6? I don't have the proper equipment to do an install. Talking labor cost not cost of equipment.
