Hey y'all, Ordered my 2023 Sharkskin Metallic 1SS 1LE 4/18 and is currently in 3400 production status as of Friday. Dealer had allocation so things are moving pretty quickly! Options are PDR, Red seatbelts, illuminated door plate, black sueded knee pads. Can't wait! MSRP plus a stupid 800$ LoJack. I'm in Houston and most SS 1LE's are going for 3 to 5k over sticker in Texas before they even get to the lot so it could be worse. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Is it worth it to get a 2SS 1LE really? i have a 1SS 1LE and other than the lighting, bs monitoring and heated/cool seats and steering wheel in california all that stuff doesnt really seem worth it for 10k extra considering markups etc

It’s personal opinion really. I don’t regret it. Those things you mentioned and more just make me melt in my seat with a huge smile.
Oh and it’s my daily so those things were in my needs list. Also, if your at $47k why not $55k?

ya bro, i was going thru hell and back trying to get allocations in CA and my orders were never moving, and with units sitting on lots were 5-12k over sticker. and i wanted manual too and that made it even more tough. Most were already spoken for and the leftovers were the ridiculous markup ones lol. And plus, can't go out of state cus CA mandates copper free brakes. I decided to call it quits on a 2ss and went to move forward with a 1SS 1LE M6 on the lot for MSRP that was close by and it has things like illuminated door sills, leather knee pads so I'm pretty happy dailying it. Being a car enthusiast in CA is like hard mode cranked to the max lol

The one thing I'd want in a 2ss is the cooled seats but I've been seeing that there are aftermarket kits you can install on the 1ss that allow them to work since the hardware is in the seats but not the buttons on the dash. Hopefully this is true and I can have cooled seats in my 1ss 1LE.. 🤷*♂️

Ya bro actually that's one of the easier installs to do. I've been toying with the idea of installing ambient lighting but all of the processes seem super involved and also a PITA so i'm having second thoughts lol

I got fairly lucky seeing as the 2SS 1LE is a hard allocation to get right now.

I ordered my Vivid Orange SS 1LE on April 4 2023, got the notification that's it's being built 5/29/23. Waiting to hear about the delivery date.

On a side note, I noticed that there isn't a vote choice for Vivid Orange Metallic

Picked up my 1le today, no wrapped hood, and had a bracket mounted on the front for a plate, luckily no holes were drilled, but still pissed about the hood. They’re making an appointment with a local shop to do it for me

Yikes. What dealer? I have mine coming in early next month! Hope they wrapped mine! Is this a common issue? Hope you get it done soon.

At this point, you should put in orders at three or more dealers nearby that sell a lot of Camaros. You’ve got seven months left (and mine took longer.)
