I think the Hellcat is awesome and Dodge deserves kudos for making it.

I wonder how confortable the hellcat is after say 8 to 10 hour cruise. I made the trip to Baytown last year in the z, my body fits that car better than any car I have ever owned. Neither my wife or me were sore or stiff from the long ride. We were both pleasantly surprised !

I need to stop looking at Hellcat and C7 video! ( or my wife is going to get pissed again when I show up with the 6th car in our driveway for two drivers)

I have a 2012 dodge hemi charger. Very nice car. My SS is quicker, but the Charger has a better passing gear. A couple of the Chargers I raced I beat easily in the Camaro, but I never stopped to ask what engine they had.

Its all good fun HP.

When watching Jay Leno's garage on the Hellcat. Leno kept saying, "Sure it's as big as a barge and weighs as much, but hey its got 700 horsepower".

I've driven an SRT392 and the seats are EXTREMELY comfortable. The car is a little roomier and I'm sure it would be a very comfortable trip. I'm a big guy and would not be at all concerned.

One issue I thought was interesting and is true even in the hellcat is the foot pedal for the E-Brake. You don't see that anymore in most cars. The C7 even has an Electronc actuator with a small rocker on the console to activate/release.

I own both cars. The Hellcat will Destroy the ZL1 in any speed contest, it's a Beast! If you haven't driven the Hellcat you have no idea what your talking about. GM needs to really up there game in the Gen 6 if they want to catch up to the Hellcat.

Dodge is the one who needs to up their game. The ZL1 came out in 2012, I hope Dodge could come up with something to beat it in that amount of time. Problem is it just isn't the ZL, the ZL1 or the Z/28 will smoke the fat kitty on a track. It isn't just about going straight anymore. Ford figured that out trying to copy the Z28 with the GT350R. Dodge not only has a ways to go to catch up to all facets of the driving experience but their quality sucks.

Regardless what you use the hellcat for, why the hell did they put 275 pirellis on the rear???? Thats insane and dangerous. I had 275 nitto invos on the rear when i was at 550rwhp and it was fking scary. I jumped another 100ish whp and decided that if i want to see 30 ill have to get something wider..

You have something that many in here lack, perspective. I drive a CTS-V believe the Hellcat is in a league of it's own. No reason to rationalize otherwise.

The Hellcat is as real as it gets. I drove one and they are no joke, as much as WW may want to deceive ourselves and call it stupid little names.

Give it the serious respect it deserves because in the hands of a competent driver it will show its tail lights to any ZL1 that is bone stock. Don't be fooled.
