Changing drag radials at the track

I did a search but nothing came up. Anyone bring there tires to the track and change them. I have Hoosier dr2 ‘s and have to drive and hour or so and I also have skinnies for the front. I’m thinking of taking out the back seat and put the tires in the back with tools and a jack. Also some kind of chain to lock up my street tires and tools. Any input would be appreciated.

DR2 will not last if you street drive them.... Way to soft IMO. Change them at the track.

Racers are a pretty tight community i bet whoever you pit next to assuming you do weekly would b willing to help you out atleast with a jack so you dont have to haul that. Hell guys i know would put your tires in their trailer to so they didnt walk away

I agree with you, my local track stopped drag racing so I will have to make some friends at the new track!

Yeah I've swapped at track. You can get a long cable and lock them together...

Like [I did not check check length here]

You cant fit 2 305 et streets in the trunk. I put one in the back seat and one in trunk with jack.

Seats out you can fit it all in the car. I have fit a tire in the trunk. If you are worried about trashing your interior you can bag up the tires.
