I personally hate the way it looks. The angle of it and everything is just wrong to me. I'd rather have NO spoiler than that. I wonder why it's only intermittent availability. Maybe if a lot of people want it they will produce more?

Did anyone else notice in the pictures of the 1SS they simply removed the 4 pack gauge cluster from the center console..but kept the steering wheel controls on it? I thought maybe they got lazy and just showed a picture without the 4 pack gauge cluster for the 2SS..but if you select to build the 2SS it is there.

I think someone goofed up..or maybe secretly steering wheel controls are now standard on the 1SS?(well, I can dream, right?)

I looked at that and I see what you mean. You can tell the area where the gauges should be looks photoshopped or something so you may be right...laziness or forgetfulness.

If only they would offer the Convenience and Connectivity Package on the 1SS.

They also screwed up on the SS. If you build an SS there is no spoiler, you have to click RS package to get it but the spoiler is standard on the SS.

I'm looking to buy a 2011 v6 auto. When I do the configuration on the Chevy website, when I check automatic it says the limited slip differential will be deleted. Does this mean the V6 auto will not be available with the limited slip? If so, why with the V6 and not with the 8?

I noticed the following option on the 2SS build: Hurst Shift-Throw Shifter

Is that supposed to be a Hurst short-throw shifter by any chance?

The V6 Auto for 2010 doesn't have limited-slip either. You only get limited-slip on both SS models and the V6 with a stick.
