Generally when cruising and if I dont skip gears.

0-10mph 1st gear
10-20mph 2nd gear
20-30mph 3rd gear
30-40mph 4th gear
40-50mph 5th gear
50+ 6th gear. (but not anymore...since the cam I have to wait until about 60 mph before the car likes 6th...so usually only on the highway at 70+ will I use 6th anymore)

Add about 10mph to each of these if I am trying to draw attention at the given speed limit lol.

Much less than these given speeds with stock gears lugs the motor too much. I have never used 6th at 40mph. Always at least 50 mph.

I most always skip 4th unless I am passing. All my shifting is based on RPM's of the motor if I am not in the city. Most of my driving is in the country.

We're not accelerating in 6th, just cruising. It takes VERY little power to maintain your speed.
