I hate that I run my catch can to the end of the air filter on my F1A. Can't wait to throw that on the intake itself and pull off the almost 90rwhp restriction and run a turbo guard instead. Really thinking about re-locating my MAF sensor from the BS in the intercooler design from procharger and putting a MAF bung in the intake charge tube where I don't need to pull the front clip to check or clean my MAF. So just more motivation to get rid of the cheap Chinese Sniper and tweak my setup.

There was a guy on here last year doing a build with the BTR manifold, he posted pics and all, but never heard anymore from him as to whether he finished it or not...

I ran the holley sniper low profile sheetmetal intake and I didnt like it much. It sounded like a tin can. I could hear the entire valvetrain through it. It was really loud. I will say, on the 427 I didnt notice any difference in driving feel. Never dyno'd with it. But I just dont see the need for an aftermarket intake with boost in a street car application.



Then again maybe a little less torque down low and more power up top is good for traction...


The BTR is beautiful. I would go that route if I didnt have an intake and wanted to keep the stock hood. The LOD has nothing but good reviews and looks really well made. Two great options.

There’s a number of yt videos with the btr on various platforms. Not much of any gains. It looks amazing if just trying to clean up under the hood.

Just bought the BTR today, tired of having to screw around with the sniper. I will probably finish the season out on the sniper though then drop a pulley and change my setup for next season

Yeah same with the current manifold. The fittings on this one are much higher quality vs that junk ass Holley Sniper Low Pro....

Ditched the sniper

I went back to an oem style manifold.

I also tried my hand and hydrodipping it too hehe.

The test fit is good but the manifold was backordered when I got it as BTR said they were waiting on O-Ring seals from Fastenal.... went to put the gaskets on and they are much to large.

That sucks. I'm surprised BTR didnt catch it.

Best looking intake on the market though...
